Week 3 Devlog - Tomás Soares


This week I had other projects with nearby deadlines, so I wasn't able to spend as much time on this one as I wanted. However I was able to import the fog mechanic into the main project files and I also started to work on a new enemy. Looking at the enemies we had, I noticed they were all enemies who followed the player and relied on melee attacks, so I had the idea to make a stationary enemy that uses long range attacks. I came up with an idea for a mutant flower that shoots some sort of energy balls and started implementing it. After analysing the existing code I was able to mostly implement the enemy but there are some bugs that I still need to fix.
